Real name Ian Strange and born in 1966 (UK). Art has been a life-long hobby. The large majority of my artwork has been done with pencils or coloured pencils, which are ideal for the very detailed artwork that I enjoy. I used to specialise in classic car portraits (and the occasional railway drawing) which gave me plenty of experience of doing intricate detail. Apart from a few art classes at school, I have not had any formal training.
Coloured pencils are also ideal for reproducing soft skin textures of people. The delicacy of the shading can't be fully appreciated on a computer monitor.
I am currently self-employed as an artist and sound-recordist.
