How could any man resist the bubbly charm and the huge smile of this lady?! Apparently not the male characters of the classic UK television comedy "Dad's Army", in which Pamela played the curvaceous Mrs. Fox. She certainly helped to show plus-sized ladies in a positive role, even if it was in comedy. Apart from this well-known role, Pamela has played many parts on stage and TV.
It's not everyone who can say that Dad's Army's Mrs. Fox telephoned them, but I can! I was delighted to hear how happy Pamela was with my sketch of her. I did not need much persuasion to let her use prints of this sketch to sign for her many fans.
