A mirror portrait of the lovely Ivy Doomkitty, famous for cosplay modelling. She makes her own costumes for attending comic conventions, but for this portrait, I decided on a more down-to-earth ensemble. My main theme was to create a mirror portrait, but after searching online, I couldn't find a suitable photo as a basis. So I composed this from scratch, working from several photos to help with drawing Ivy and the clothing. It's an interesting double perspective as well as trying to get the lighting right. The highlights and shadows on velvet, are often reversed, because of the shiny pile.
