An imaginary lady by a window. I worked from 2 photos, 1 of them providing the inspiration for the setting and lighting, and the other for the red hair (with 1940s inspired style). I made up the rest. I would have preferred to use a less grainy paper, for a smoother look to the background, but the drawing would be less clear on video.
2 years ago, I was recovering from a migraine and had a dream. In the dream, an unknown lady appeared in my living room. She had long, wavy red hair and a stylish blue top and white jeans. The next morning, I watched a fashion segment on the QVC (UK) channel. A model I'd never seen before appeared, with the same hair and clothes of the mystery dream lady. I don't know what any of this means (!) but it came in handy for this drawing.
I wonder why this lady is looking out of the window? Maybe awaiting the arrival of a guest? Or something has caught her attention?
